Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains how PostPrep ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and services.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: your email address used to sign in with magic links.
  • Billing information: Stripe customer and subscription IDs, and related billing metadata (we do not store full card numbers).
  • Usage data: generation requests (topic, selected platforms, language, tone), timestamps, and quota usage for the purpose of enforcing plan limits and improving the product.
  • Technical data: basic log information such as IP address, browser type, and error logs to keep the service reliable and secure.

2. How we use your information

  • To authenticate you via magic link and maintain your session.
  • To provide the generation features and enforce daily/monthly quotas.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions through Stripe.
  • To monitor performance, prevent abuse, and improve the product.
  • To communicate important updates about your account or subscription.

3. AI provider and content

When you use PostPrep, your prompts (topic, selected platforms, and related context) are sent to our configured large language model (LLM) provider to generate captions. We only send the minimum necessary information required to produce results. We do not use your content to train our own models.

4. Data retention

We retain account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Generation logs may be kept for a limited period for debugging and usage analytics and may be aggregated or anonymized over time.

5. Sharing your information

We share data only with service providers that are necessary to run PostPrep, such as:

  • Payment processing (Stripe).
  • LLM / AI infrastructure providers.
  • Email delivery (for magic-link login emails).

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and the security of the service.

6. Cookies and sessions

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to protect your account (for example, session cookies created by our authentication system). You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may prevent you from using the app.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, update, or delete your personal information. If you would like to exercise these rights, please contact us.

8. Contact

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, please contact us at support@huajutech.com.
